Mostly I promote the Magdalen Islands or Iles de la Madeleine, passing information on to whomever wishes to know a little more. I do this through two website blogs and several a couple blogspot news blogs. I haven’t decided how to monetize anything yet. I just give away a friendly welcome to visitors at this time…, but that will change as my sites evolve.

I have Gimme A Dream Vacation at http://www.gimmeadream.com dedicated to people who are looking for an interesting place to spend their holidays as well as the Magdalen Islands Online site dedicated to islanders and people who have island ties who want to know a bit more about where they come from.

Some people consider me an historian for the islands and I do quite a few interviews on various aspects. In truth, I’m a visitor’s guide during the summer and a island researcher during the winter. Through guiding and the blogs I’ve become a story teller.

The future is very bright. One of the websites will become a membership site though I don’t think it will be a paid site. The guiding will take the form of a luxury camping (glamping) and cottage site on the islands as well as on the net. Within the confines of the campgrounds will be a recreational park which will include horse back riding and lessons, adventure camping in the local national park and paintball tournments. Mobile apps are being created to show people around and geocashing to make the journey and destination interesting.
